The 105 Hard DriveĀ® Punch has a hardened steel punching die that can handle 2 1/2" and 3 1/2" size drives. It has a 15 second punching cycle with automatic stop.Ā With a single punch, the Model 105 Hard Drive™ Punch prevents any information from being retrieved on a hard drive through conventional means. The nickel-plated punch pierces through the ENTIRE drive destroying any functionality. For classified information (after the use of an approved degausser) the NSA "highly recommends that the hard drive be physically damaged prior to release"
